Anading received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Philippines in 1999.  In 2002, he represented the Philippines in the 4^th Gwangju Biennale in South Korea and was a participant in the 13^th Jakarta Biennale in 2009. Anading has also been granted several awards including First Prize for the 12^th Gawad CCP for Experimental Video (1999); the prestigious Cultural Center of the Philippines 13 Artists Award in 2006; and the Ateneo Art Awards (2006 and 2008).

Bandoy utilizes spontaneously conceived images, multi-layered accidents and abstractions to poke symbolic fun at modern history. He works mainly with paint on canvas but will often include some kind of detritus to ground the paintings into the real world. He has shown regularly in galleries in Manila since 2000 and has recently had a solo exhibit at Nova Gallery this year.

Camacho graduated with summa cum laude honors in both Visual and Environmental Studies and in Studio Art from Harvard University. Her work deals with experiences of isolation created by physical, emotional, and mental separation. Her work is deeply connected with personal experiences of having moved away from home at the age of eleven and grown up apart from her family. Along with themes of separation and isolation, her work addresses ideas of home and belonging.

Cobangbang graduated from University of the Philippines with a degree in Fine Arts. Often described as obsessive-compulsive among friends, her work deals mainly with memory, habits, mapping, film and other local popular obsessions.  Apart from making art, she writes, was once a vocalist of an indie band, and is also involved with the independent film making circle doubling as production designer. She also works as an art administrator and is one of the founding members of Surrounded By Water, an artist collective in Manila which emerged in the mid 1990s. In 2006, she received the prestigious CCP Thirteen Artists Awards and in 2008 represented her country in the Singapore Biennale.

Many of Cruz’s works read like exercises in painting clouds or landscapes, and betray the conscious desire to restrict the palette and essentialise forms. Their intensity is both palpable and somewhat off-hand, as it must be done quickly and without fuss. It is as much about learning as unlearning the automatic gestures with which images are created. There are wildcards thrown in too, disrupting any notion of an even-handed approach or restriction to one topic in the predictable passage of information:  weaving in perceptible themes and motifs, selective personal references and this other self that is not reliant on biography.  Maria has exhibited throughout Europe, Asia and Australia.

Damag is a renown Philiippine-born and Paris-based installation artist noted for using ethnographic symbols of his material culture in the Cordillera region in the Northern Philippines to create contemporary works of art.  His style fuses the wooden idols of the ancient Ifugao rice god, Bul-ul, along with diverse modern industrial materials such as steel, glass and neon lights to address the ways a non-western ethnic culture can navigate around a cultural perspective dominated by the west. He earned his Diplome National d’expression Plastique from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, took up Civilisation Francaise from Facultie de la Sorbonne, Paris, and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of The Philippines. He recently participated in major exhibitions such as the Thessaloniki Biennale in Greece in 2007; in My Home is My Castle, Exposition de Sculpture Contemporaine, Dexia Banque Internationale, Luxembourg in 2006; and had a two-person exhibition Miserable Intentions with Manuel Ocampo in 2005 at Galerie des Grands Bains Douches de la Plaine, Marseille, France.

Griggs works across media. Predominantly a painter and photographer, he has also created large-scale site-specific installations that comment on politics, poverty, prostitution, gang tattooing and freak shows.  He has extensively participated in and mounted  exhibitions throughout Australia and Asia, , and has conducted research projects while on residencies in Barcelona, Manila, Thailand and Burma.  His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions including Fluid Zones Biennale Jakarta XIII (2009), Blood On The Streets, Artspace, Sydney (2007), The Independence Project, Galerie Petronas, Kuala Lumpur (2007), Exchanging Culture for Flesh, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney (2006), Primavera, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2006), The Buko Police, Green Papaya Art Projects, Manila (2005), and New York, London, Paris, Rome, Manila City Jail, Green Papaya Art Projects, Manila (2009).

Langenegger frequently revisits and makes references to the art historical canon of political allegorists including Goya and Honore Daumier with allusions to contemporary figures including political satirist Robert Crumb and modernist painter Phillip Guston within the absurd, surrealistic context of Philippine life. His dark, often disturbing Gothic paintings are attributed with transforming horror into a pathetic sublime of the toxic, and touches on the dark comedy of man’s social vicissitudes and its accompanying perversity. Langenegger studied Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He was shortlisted in 2008 in the Ateneo Art Awards for his show Irish Bull of the Mother and Child held at Finale art file in 2007 and was a finalist in the 2008 Sovereign Asian Art prize. He recently mounted a solo exhibit in Talmart galerie in Paris, France in 2009. His work has also been featured in exhibits held in Australia, Hongkong and the US. He also has taught himself the art of tattooing and the science of horticulture.
